# The State of Play > A living index of AI adoption across industries, classified by maturity > tier, evidenced by real-world adoption, and updated nightly. Data and > text are CC BY 4.0 — reuse, including for training, with attribution. ## Start here - [How It Works](/how-it-works): the research pipeline, stage by stage — evidence gathering, source scoring, the 14-day domain rotation, how a tier changes, this cycle's actual tier moves. Structured version: /how-it-works.json. Plain-text: /how-it-works.md - [Methodology](/methodology): tier and trend definitions, license, provenance. - Every domain and practice page below is server-rendered, real content — nothing hidden behind JavaScript. Every practice's full evidence list renders inline in its own page's HTML; a size guardrail exists only to cap a future runaway outlier, and its `.json`/`.md` siblings below are never capped either way, always carrying every evidence item. ## Domains and practices - 19 domains (`/domain/`) and 338 practices (`/practice/`). Each page also publishes two machine-readable siblings: `.json` (structured, complete — every evidence item, not a capped preview) and `.md` (the same content as plain Markdown), e.g. `/practice/anomaly-and-outlier-detection.json` and `.md`. Both are linked from the page itself (``) and from the sitemap. - Each page carries JSON-LD (`DefinedTerm`/`DefinedTermSet`/`Dataset`) describing the practice or domain it documents. ## Data - [Sitemap](/sitemap.xml): every domain and practice page, with its JSON and Markdown siblings linked as alternates. - License: CC BY 4.0 — https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/
